International Gelshield Plus Gelshield® Plus is designed to protect and prolong the lifetime of glass fibre hulls that have been affected by osmosis. This new formulation builds as much as 150 microns per coat, is highly water resistant and contains no harmful solvents that could migrate into the hull and cause re-blistering. Gelshield® Plus has been test marketed for a number of years and the response from the market has been overwhelming. Applicators found this product really easy to use as it is easy to apply and the overcoating intervals are wider than usual, which adds flexibility in regards to working practices.
