Description

These units are compact all-in-one combinations of a pure sine wave inverter, a powerful battery charger and an automatic AC transfer switch. The ideal energy system solution for caravan, motorhome, maritime or 'off-grid' solar energy applications.

The Powersine inverter-charger combination automatically charges the battery when energy from the grid or a generator is available. The additionally available energy can also be passed on to AC loads such as a TV, household appliances or power tools. When mains or generator voltage is no longer available, the Powersine Combi automatically converts the battery voltage into a sinusoidal 230V alternating voltage. All this is done fully automatically via a built-in AC transfer switch. This works extremely fast, so that all AC loads are not affected by a switchover.

This unit features an automatic standby function, which can further reduce the already low no-load power consumption by an extra 70%. In addition, the Powersine Combi is equipped with a TBSLink port for connection to a TBS remote control, or a Windows PC for easy step-by-step configuration and reading through the TBS Dashboard software.

The Powersine Combi offers many innovative features such as 'AC Input Power Boost', which can temporarily assist weak AC input sources when more power is needed than available. For example, smaller generators can be used, since the Powersine Combi can supply the power shortage itself. As a result, the total system costs can be reduced and the generator will also be used more efficiently. Another useful feature is 'AC Input Current Limit', which can automatically limit the maximum allowable current of the AC source in charger mode. In this way, for example, a shore power supply with limited capacity can be prevented from being overloaded. This threshold is infinitely adjustable via the optional 'Universal Remote Control'.

The Powersine Combi units have an excellent reputation for their robust construction and conservative specifications. Like the Powersine inverters, the Powersine Combi inverter chargers are all protected against high or low battery voltage, high temperature, overload and short circuit.

Also available are fully configurable alarm relay outputs and a unique trigger input. The trigger input can convert external trigger commands to, for example, a freely programmable Powersine Combi status change.
