Fits Volvo diesel engine oil 1 litre, VDS-3.VDS-3 covers even more stringent requirements on piston cleanliness and bore polish compared to VDS-2, ensuring the durability and reliability of the engines. The high quality of VDS-3 oils allows in certain cases an increase in drain intervals.
Although there is now VDS 4 or 5 advertised, VDS 4, 4.5 and VDS5 is for specific larger engines using a CAT and DPF filter. It is therefore not necessary for engines up to D8.
